Jane Larkman

JANE

 

A former member of St. Chads, Jane worked with WEC (World Evangelism Crusade) amongst the Muslim Fula people in Senegal.  She now works in the UK with WEC SOON ministries producing a Fula language gospel paper called Booyataa  which is circulated amongst Fula speakers in West Africa and more widely.

JOSH & NATALIE CARLSON with GEMMA


Josh from USA is Pastor at Calvary Chapel Kampala, Uganda and a teacher at the Bible College. Natalie who grew up at St Chad's helps with the women’s work. The ministry continues to grow well. Natalie formerly worked with Oasis Trust on the Bambejaa Project.

The Barnabas Fund

The fund supports persecuted Christians in many countries. St. Chad’s giving is used to support a Christian School in Bethlehem and also a church feeding programme in Zimbabwe. Christians in Bethlehem, Baghdad, Iran and other places are facing immense pressure from Muslim extremists to leave their historic homes and many have fled.

The Rev. Sue Mayo who worshipped at
St Chads leads CIST in Stockport. She is also a School Chaplain and a curate in Stockport. Andrew, Jonathan & Linda work full-time taking groups in many schools including Wilmslow Grange Primary and Wilmslow High schools.  Steve Burmester now Chairs the Trust.

St Chad’s is now committed to supporting the worldwide relief aid work of TEARFUND as a ‘connected’ church and we have specific links to partners in Cambodia.

Gill & Carlos OlaakaCrosslinks

Crosslinks is an

Anglican Mission

agency with work 

in Africa, Asia & UK.  St Chad’s long- standing support is used in the most appropriate and identifiable way.
Future giving will possibly support
bursary students in Uganda.

Betel Children's Home UK

We have personal links with Betel Children’s Home in Brazil, South America through members of our congregation. The home provides care for abandoned & destitute children.   Our giving supports work-training for older children as they prepare to leave the home.

CPAS
The Church of England’s Church Pastoral Aid Society supports parishes through leadership training and an extensive programme of Christian holidays for children and young people.

Outlook TrustNorman CritchellNorman Critchell Is the director of the Outlook Trust which encourages church in UK and overseas in gospel outreach to people over 55 years. He and his wife Denise have had links with St Chads for many years.

Brenda Noble, who worshipped for a time at St Chads, works for 'In Yer Face’ schools theatre group within the Message Trust

TLMTHE LEPROSY MISSION

TLM area representative Derek Hartley maintains St Chad’s long standing link with this work. Our current giving enables children to attend school in a poor area of northern Mozambique affected by leprosy.
