HARVEST CELEBRATION - October 4th and 5th - On Saturday evening, October 4th there will be a simple (soup and sweet) Harvest Meal and Welcome for Steve and Jo Burmester, Hannah and Charlotte, starting at 6:00pm. Tickets are available from Pat Worthington and the Church Office.At our Harvest Services on Sunday October 5th there will be a Parade Service at 10:30am.Gift envelopes will be available for the support of the work of TEARfund.
Theatre

THEATRE GROUP - New Brookdale Theatre Season -The season starts with "Nevill’s Island" by Tim Firth Wednesday October 8th at 7.45pm. Leaflets at the back of Church and in the Hall  - Contact Eunice for further details.
  MATURE CHRISTIANS CLUB - with Leslie Newton  - Thursday October 9th All more mature members of the congregation are invited to MCC  Leslie Newton composes and sings so this meeting promises to be very interesting. For further information contact Rodney (0161 439 1739) or Dianne (525774

  LADIES’ BREAKFAST - Saturday October 18th at 8:30am - The Rev Richard Lawson from Wilmslow Methodist Church will be speaking. Please sign the list at the back of Church if you are able to come along and indicate if you would like a bacon butty.

SUE MAYO - It is great to be able to announce that Sue Mayo will be joining us at St Chad's from Sunday 5th October. Sue has begun a 2 year program of training for ordination on a new style course called "Mixed Mode Training" This involves being placed in a local parish church where she will learn some of the ministry skills necessary for ordination. Sue is also going to be continuing her work with Christians in Schools Trust. Please pray for Sue as she makes the transition.

Animates Arrow HOUSE GROUPS - A list of our nine House Groups, which are an integral part of the life of St Chad’s, is at the back of church. Most groups meet twice a month for fellowship, Bible study and prayer. Now is a good time for new members to join as we begin our autumn studies.
